The Nursery Day
The nursery session consists of a range of play-based activities, both inside and outside, with some activities being led by Nursery practitioners. The nursery day consists of a wide range of planned and purposeful play based activities, designed to stimulate children’s imaginations and curiosity. In-between these activities we have short focused carpet sessions and small group work where we teach specific concepts for example counting objects accurately or listening for rhyming words.
The children are provided with a snack of milk and fruit. The children have free flow access between the indoor and outdoor environments. The session ends with story and song time.
The emphasis is on developing talk, independence and play and of course having fun!
