SMASC- Wrap around care

Article 15 You have the right to choose your own friends and join or set up groups, as long as it isn't harmful to others.

St Michael’s Breakfast and After School club is run as part of the main school, with a small team of qualified staff providing play and learning opportunities for those that require wraparound care.

Breakfast Club 7:30-8.45am – £4.00

During breakfast club, we currently offer toast with butter and/or jam alongside a choice of cereals. The children can have a drink of milk or water with their breakfast. Not all children choose to have breakfast with us as it suits their morning routine to have it at home before they arrive. Breakfast will be available between 7:30-8:30am. We have a variety of resources available including board games, construction toys and puzzles to name a few. At 8:45am we escort the younger children to their classes whilst the older children make their own way to their classrooms.

After School Club 3.15-6:00pm – £7.50

After school, younger children are escorted to us from their classrooms, whilst the older ones make their own way to afterschool club. We offer similar activities as breakfast club, as well as having use of the computer room, library and the outside areas. We have an adult led craft activity offered each evening, however it is the choice of the child if they decide to take part or not. When children arrive, we offer a snack, children can have jam sandwiches, cereal or fruit. If preferred they may bring their own snack to have at afterschool club. Water and milk are available during snack time and the children can help themselves to water throughout the evening. Children can be picked up any time before 6:00pm from the entrance to Ash class.
